Some of the line by line / general information threads have been getting rather long in the tooth ... and this morning I have update the Swindon to Westbury one (the line I know best)  with text from a briefing paper.

... please post any suggestions / changes here (or on that thread).   Members are welcome ( encouraged!) to post updates or new text for inclusion - a fresh lick of paint - on any of these threads.   We'll make new threads sticky , and / or make changes to the original posts as appropriate.
