Any news on its return to traffic, as its been a good few weeks since it left for Eastleigh

has not left yet, there have been some delays think it is due back in a week or so.

I believe the refurbished 143 will be back this week. The unions have already inspected it at Eastleigh I gather.

refurbished 143617 was stabled on the siding next to platform 1 at Btm this evening, looked quite smart although it was getting dark

refurbished 143617 was stabled on the siding next to platform 1 at Btm this evening, looked quite smart although it was getting dark

I saw it in traffic at BRI» (Bristol Temple Meads - next trains) on Sat 20th December in daylight, sporting the 'ever so trendy', West livery... A nylon purse from a sow's ear?
