Impressive stuff, but I'll be even more impressed when they actually show the location of the train via a GPS feed. Until then, I would imagine our own software developer, Graham, would be able to do something similar if he had the time or inclination? It is only plotting a timetable and route waypoints onto a map after all?

Swiss trains are very reliable. Virtually all electrified in the early 20th Century. Clean, good value and they're provided me with several wonderful railway journeys over the years. They're pretty slow though - even on the principal routes, and mostly single track with passing places anywhere rural, but we'll let them off because the scenery is so spectacular and challenging from an engineering perspective!

The 180 arriving at Evesham shows the amount of vegetation clearance that has been undertaken in readiness for an extra track to be laid later this year from that point for the next 15 route miles to Moreton-In-Marsh. E33 semaphore section signal (which actually applies to the OTHER track than the one it's next to) will also be replaced with something a little more modern!

Although, to be fair, that only shows the information at a rather high level - with nothing between Taunton and BTM^▸ (Bristol Temple Meads (strictly, it should be BRI) but BTM is a commonly used alternative)), for example, as the line is drawn straight between the two (missing out important intermediate stations, such as Bridgwater, Burnham on Sea, Weston ... and Nailsea ?  )
