57: A 158 and I can see a third rail, so it is south of Southampton. My initial thought was Fareham (by the design of the roof). I keep coming back to thinking of this as being Platform 2 at Fareham, overlooking the train sat at Platform 3. This fits in with the Ladies being in the correct place! But I can't see the bridge - perhaps this photo was taken before it was built?

57 definitely Fareham, the background detail to the immediate right of the cab is helpful too I think. But taken prior to the new footbridge installation, so some time before early 2009, by which time the lift shafts were going up...
Just a wild guess, but could the overgrown crossing also be on the Bicester - Bletchley line, beyond Claydon?? junction?

These are the remaining 4 that have no location against them ... I think there's probably someone out there who can identify the last two ...
But we don't actually know where 21, 22, 23 or 30 were taken either! I think we should be told precise locations otherwise the whole competition has to be deemed null and void. |

First two between Chippenham and Swindon ... third one in Melksham, fourth one around Freshford |

Ah ... I think the Taunton-every-time thing has worn a bit thin, but that neeting was indeed there. I case your suffering from TWS (Taunton Withdrawl Symptoms) here are pictures of two different stations in that town:   |
