Oddly enough Willesden depot seems to be far better connected to the WCML^▸ (West Coast Main Line) slows than the Euston/Watford DC^▸ (Direct Current) line and the NLL^▸ (North London line), I guess it used to have more of a role for the WCML in the days of Silverlink. 

Willesden was built as a ETMD (Electric Traction Maintenance Depot) by BR^▸ (British Rail(ways)) it serviced the main line electric locomotives for the WCML, the rolling stock was (is) maintained at Wembley, now that the WCML operates multiple units ie Pendilenos Willesden is not needed although before LO took it over it was used by one of the FOC^▸ (Freight Operating Company, or possibly 'free of charge', depending on context)'s

Willesden used to do some of the heavy repairs to the old Euston Watford Units and some were stabled there but as you said it is a pain getting them in and out, whether LO and NR^» (Network Rail - home page) have plans to change this in the long term I don't know.

Willesden Depot was also the site of a ECR (Electrical Control Room) its control area was transfered to Rugby as part of the WCML upgrade about a decade ago

4 I think is somewhere between Acton Central and Stratford on NLL^▸ (North London line) judging by O/H not third rail. Possibly  one of the stations between Willesden HL and Gospel Oak.
5 I think is somewhere on the GOB hence mouthy. Possibly Upper Holloway or Crouch Hill.
6 Could be throat to Dalston Junction from South.

Correct with number 6.  Almost correct with number 5 - care to gamble on which one it is out of Upper Holloway or Crouch Hill?  Your guess for number 4 is pretty close too, but a little too vague!

Bad luck on number 5, but well done anyway - it's Crouch Hill!  Number 4 isn't Brodesbury Park.

4. I think the rh curve and falling gradient is abought right for Gospel Oak - so the unit is in the westbound NLL^▸ (North London line) platform, the juction with the GOB being behind the photographer?

Correct, Paul - well done.  You can clearly see the extension to the westbound platform to allow for the 4-car 378's to stop.  The eastbound platform is already plenty long enough, though the majority of other platforms on the route have had to get similar extensions.

Well, we appear to have drawn a blank with picture 7.  The lonesome seat is at Wembley Stadium station, by the lift, so presumably placed there for the elderly to rest whilst waiting the lift?
