I've updated the images at the top of the page (to remind you to try the TransWilts Sunday Morning services if you're in the area!).   All pictures are ones that I have personally taken during July; some locations are obvious but others are not. Where can you spot that's not quite my home territory of Melksham?

There's a very futeristic station entrance which doesn't look Trans Wilts. Possible MAnchester Picadilly or Liverpool Street.

This one?

Correct in that it's not on the TransWilts ... but it is neither Manchester nor Liverpool Street.
And, yes, to the Loos at Weymouth, Bedwyn and Paddington.

There are some other places which aren't on the Swindon -> Salisbury line too.

It is the view on exiting "City thameslink" (or "city first Capital connect" as it ought to be called now)

You aren't being serious with that of course.  Quite a few FCC (First Capital Connect) employees were caught out when the franchise changed hands, deleting the word on timetable posters and wayfinding signs etc, when referring to that particular station, and everything had to be corrected...

I would guess so, seeing as there's a 'City Thameslink' sign above the door to the right of the yellow traffic cone!

Going back to 1998 when I was taking my GCSEs, the Midland Examining Group (MEG) had just been absorbed into a new organization calling itself OCR (Overhead Condition Renewals team) (which I think stood for Oxford, Cambridge and RSA (Rolled Steel Angles)). Some clever individual went through all of MEG's literature and did a blanket "find and replace' for MEG with OCR. Sadly this also included the syllabuses, with the result that some science ones included the fictitious units 'ocrawatt', 'ocrajoule' etc etc...
