To illustrate a story concerning an ECML▸ broken rail the BBC» journalist concerned apparently thought an image of a Class 897 would be appropriate. These machines are not scheduled for entry into public service until 2027.

From Time Out Watford has been feeling the impact of cuts to its bus services in recent years. Now, a group of locals say that the Hertfordshire town’s transport system needs expanding, and have started a petition asking the council to commit to reopening a long-disused train station. Watford West was last used as a railway station in 1996, nearly 30 years ago. It continued as a bus stop until 2003, when it was shut completely. In the subsequent decades it became rusty and overgrown, then was cleared in preparation for the ultimately doomed Croxley Link.

That's well south of 'Annoying'. The first is A.I. fantasy, how is one meant to learn about the world from this sort of imagery - the landscape isn't feasable, never mind the train and rail line. The second... for obvious reasons there's many Tarbets in Scotland and top marks to the itinerary for that side-excursion to the wrong one. Oh, and that isn't Harris.

Latest I have is that the hotel on the top of Snaefell is defunct ... I suspect the start and end points are Ronaldsway

Not Ronaldsway - that's between Douglas & Castletown, nearer the latter
