The article also comments on the lack of consultation with the neighbours, and includes reference to a statement from Network Rail that they have (to some extent) but they don't have to because it's on their land. They haven't mentioned it to the passengers who go that way, nor to the
CRP▸ ... but then Network Rail have abolished the posts in their organisation that used to do community Liaison. Whether there's a logical desire / need / reason to liaise with rail users is an interesting question - whether morally they should, especially as we (the public) own Network Rail is also an interesting question.
