Reform run the council.....

It's not a council-run car park.  Managed by APCOA (Airport Parking Corporation Of America - an organization founded in Ohio in 1947. Car parking company used at GWR (Great Western Railway) controlled stations in the area) for GWR, I believe

William Huskisson MP (Member of Parliament, or Mile Post (a method of measuring the railway in miles and chains from a starting point - usually London), depending on context) was the first person to be killed by a train while crossing the tracks, in 1830.  Many more have died in the same way since then.  Don't take a chance: Stop, Look, Listen.

It is a council car park. Leased by GWR (Great Western Railway) & APCOA (Airport Parking Corporation Of America - an organization founded in Ohio in 1947. Car parking company used at GWR controlled stations in the area) are sub-contracted to collect payments.

Nice to see there are now a couple of vending machines. Haven't been to the station for a few weeks, so not sure when they got added. Plus the guy doing the coffee was outside as well, so nice little bonus. Mind you, I then had to go into one of the toilets to drink it as there are radiators in the toilets, making them the warmest place to wait in the whole station!
