In the ATW▸ (Arriva Trains Wales (former Train Operating Company)) Dispute, it is the drivers from both ASLEF» (Associated Society of Locomotive Engineers and Firemen - about) and RMT▸ (National Union of Rail, Maritime & Transport Workers) Unions on strike in which case you can't have Managers or any other grades being trained up to cover a driver at short notice.  How would you source enough buses to cover a mass bustitution.   Passengers could turn up in masses for substitute buses with not enough to go round.

Strike on today ... and (it seems) effecting at least one GWR▸ (Great Western Railway) service too:

07:30 Carmarthen to London Paddington due 11:32
This train will be started from Llanelli.
This train will no longer call at Carmarthen, Ferryside, Kidwelly and Pembrey & Burry Port.
This is due to industrial action.
Further Information
There will be a replacement coach service from Carmarthen to Swansea at 08:00 calling at Ferryside, Kidwelly and Pembrey & Burry Port.

Do GWR use Arriva drivers west of Llanelli?

Problem is Carmarthen station is full of ATW▸ (Arriva Trains Wales (former Train Operating Company)) sets and there was no room for the HST▸ (High Speed Train (Inter City class 43 125 units)).
