I was quite surprised to get this, bank holiday travel is usually very busy without any offer like this!

Also, far too late for those going away as they generally wouldn't leave booking this late, so I don't see much long distance use except possibly into London where accomodation is probably still available. Otherwise mostly day tripping last-minute

May help a few Plymouth Argyle fans to get up to London for the playoff final at Wembley on Monday a bit more cheaply (and/or England/Wales fans to get to Twickenham on Sunday!)

Surely they'd have booked by now?

Hi all,
Didn't receive the email , might have taking up the offer , due to arrive Gatwick at about 2 on Sunday and about 11 weeks ago bought a split advance via Swindon through Paddington.

Was thinking of staying over in London till Monday when I found out that england was playing Wales .

Seems like it going to be quite, there are plenty of tickets up for sale for the game.

Question for the person more informed than me ?

My advance on Sunday has reservations for trains from Padd. but not from Gatwick, if plane arrives ontime and I clear customs , could I catch an earlier train to have a beer in the city.
