I guess that covers it, though more precise info would have been better.

Where I've just looked - Journeycheck for Reading-London - it says:

A murder investigation has been launched and a rail station closed after a woman was found fatally injured at a house near Bristol.

The 27-year-old was found with serious injuries inside a house in Brendon Gardens, Nailsea, Somerset, shortly before 07:00 GMT.

A 45-year-old man was arrested at Nailsea and Backwell railway station at 07:30 and is being treated in hospital.

The station has been closed and a cordon is in place at Brendon Gardens.

Police said paramedics tried to save the woman but she died at the scene.

Her next of kin are being supported by officers.

Det Ch Insp James Riccio said: "This investigation is at a very early stage and we are doing everything possible to determine how the woman died.

"We're aware this will have an impact on the wider community and I'd like to reassure people we believe this to be an isolated incident."

Anyone with information is urged to contact Avon & Somerset Constabulary.

Following a person being hit by a train between London Paddington and Reading some lines have now reopened. Disruption is expected until 16:30 08/01.
Train services between London Paddington and Reading may be cancelled, delayed by up to 120 minutes or terminated at and started back from Reading. Slough will not be served.

Train services between London Paddington and Reading are returning to normal but some services may still be cancelled, delayed by up to 40 minutes or revised.

A man was arrested on suspicion of murdering his wife at their family home in Nailsea after being struck by a train at a nearby station.

Andrew Tavener was arrested by police on Monday, January 8, after being hit by a train at Nailsea and Backwell railway station around 7.30am.

The 45-year-old tree surgeon, who was taken to hospital with a hand injury, was detained after his wife, Claire Tavener, died at their family home in Brendon Gardens.

The 27-year-old, a mother of two, was found inside the property with serious injuries and despite the efforts of paramedics, died at the scene.

Avon and Somerset Police have called it an “isolated incident” but told how officers “are doing everything possible to determine how the woman died”.

Claire Tavener death: Husband admits murder

A man has admitted murdering his wife who was found stabbed to death at her home near Bristol.

Claire Tavener, 27, was found at a house in Brendon Gardens in Nailsea on 8 January, Bristol Crown Court heard.

Andrew Tavener, 45, of Brendon Gardens, was arrested at nearby Nailsea and Backwell railway station.

He was remanded in custody to be sentenced on 10 April. In a statement after her death Mrs Tavener's family described her as an "amazing woman".
