If it's ...
* Happening in or near GWR (Great Western Railway) served ...
* Of interest to public transport types, or well served by public transport
* Open to the general public (even if they have to ask as guests, then pay. fe)
... then you are welcome to post.  And PLEASE do.

This board is provided for you to post up news and updates of your events in West London, the Thames Valley, the South West, the Cotswolds, Wessex and South Wales.  A particular emphasis on railway related events, please - but also non-railway events are welcomed.  Link your posts to the calendar and you'll see them advertised on the front page a few days ahead.

The diary's next six events are posted at the head of every page now, as well as. link to the complete diary. This is a change in recent weeks, and the data will become even more prominent and searchable in the future.

Please feel free to post meeting minutes, other follow up, etc - they all form part of the web and data archive - and they may bring your group more interest and members!

You can find out more about how this forum works [here] - that will link you to a copy of the forum agreement that you can read before you join, and tell you very much more about how we operate. We are an independent forum, provided and run by customers of Great Western Railway, for customers of Great Western Railway and we welcome railway professionals as members too, in either a personal or official capacity. Views expressed in posts are not necessarily the views of the operators of the forum.

As well as posting messages onto existing threads, and starting new subjects, members can communicate with each other through personal messages if they wish. And once members have made a certain number of posts, they will automatically be admitted to the "frequent posters club", where subjects not-for-public-domain are discussed; anything from the occasional rant to meetups we may be having ...
