Why is 28th September BBC» (British Broadcasting Corporation - home page) Music Day? That's probably one of those stupid questions (answer: why not?). But anyway, for whatever reason, it is, and one of the main places they have programmed their performers or induced others to appear is at railway stations under the banner of "Platform to Perform".

There's a long list of places where things will happen, though their listing does not appear to give timings. A few examples:

Sweet Honi and The Rocks performing at Exeter Station
Playful Chorus performing at Bodmin and Wenford Railway
Experimental sound installation by the University of West of England at Bristol Temple Meads Station
BBC Radio Gloucestershire 30th Anniversary performance at Gloucester Station
Reading Phoenix Choir performing at Reading Station
Soundabout & Choir performing at Didcot Parkway
Topic of Cancer Choir performing at Guildford Station

Let's hope that none of those events prove as controversial as this one...

Great - wonder if they'll have her announcing the signal failures which are knackering the evening peak?  Angry
