With reduced engine/energy capacity today, I'm taking it easy ... reading up and surfing the web.    Came across this totally none-rail page https://www.bbc.co.uk/cbbc/quizzes/which-winter-animal-are-you - took the test and concluded that I'm a red squirrel.  We have one of those; I'm honoured to be another of the breed.

Heading off to hibernate for the rest of the day

Mainly found in Scotland, pine martens can be very elusive and hard to spot! They are good climbers and use holes in tree trunks or old birds' nests for their dens.

Pine martens are omnivores and eat a wide variety of foods like small mammals and rodents as well as fruit and nuts. They can travel up to 20km a day in search of food.

A recent study has shown that pine martens can help Britain's native red squirrels by keeping grey squirrel numbers down, allowing the reds to thrive!

Looks like me and Pine Martens have more in common than I first realised. Mind you, some of those questions didn't have very representative answer options so I might have some Pine Marten conformity issues.

I've actually played a Lion in Wizard of Oz, and a Horse and an Otter in Wind in the Willows. With this experience I feel an Otter is my closet preferred winter animal.
