How do Groupsave and London Travelcards work together?

If I and Lisa, Sue and Sue take a Saturday trip to the Ragged School Museum from Melksham ... does "Groupsave" work with a London Travelcard?  And if so, do we have to stick together all the time in London ... the 205 bus (almost) to Bow Church and the Hammersmith and kitty back, or can I (should I get bored with the museum) leave the museum early and visit Turnham Green which I have (mis)understood to be named after a group of climate friendly activists before rejoining Lisa and the Sues at Paddington?

Is it the same rule as a Two Together Railcard? Basically they should want to see your ticket, your railcard and the other half. I am sure there are plenty more knowledgeable people here who would give you a definitive answer.
The one thing I do know about Groupsave, but not relevant here, not valid on Cross Country.

All those travelling with GroupSave Travelcards should remain together while using TfL» (Transport for London - about) services. Just as you have to on the big railway.

To do what you are proposing grahame, Lisa and the Sues can get GroupSave if they plan to stay together throughout. You can go Turn 'em Green with your own Travelcard. Which I believe you can also get discounted by a third with your Old Codger's Railcard. Tongue
