Diversion via North somerset junction I presume.
Thoughts with all those who may be effected.

Although the circumstances surrounding these incidents are upsetting, it is often useful for others to warn them of disruption and make alternative plans.   Sadly they are all too common so a post like this with no location makes them less useful.

I assume you are referring to the incident just west of Swindon this morning - in which case South Wales services used the Golden Valley line while some Bristol services and the one train to Exeter were sent via the Berks & Hants.

As the incident is now over and it has also been mentioned in the TransWilts thread I am locking this one but leaving it as a reminder.
