This morning (Wednesday 2nd April) I definitely did NOT have a good journey.

To be fair, the reliablity of my morning service has improved drastically recently (although it's now timetabled 15 minutes later daily which isn't so good)..

However, this morning, having arrived at Maidenhead at about 08.55 for the 09.03am departure non-stop to Paddington as I usually do.. it was showing as about half hour late (even though twenty minutes earlier at home the departures boards showed it still as on time - hhhmmm that doesn't quite add up)...

Anyway we did eventually leave Maidenhead at 09.25.. So a nice half hour wait.. During this time, 7 intercities sailed through the station (plus an eighth one that we had to sit and wait for once we were on the train).. Surely just one of them could have stopped and picked us all up?

If there were more trains in this part of the peak (and it must be peak as we still pay peak prices at this time), then it wouldn't be so much of a problem. But I think it's unacceptable to have to wait so long for a train.. (Yes I know other lines have a much more limited service..., but this board is about London to Reading  Wink)
