Tuesday (16th) , 16:00 - Tuesday Club - http://www.passenger.chat/23631 (for members)

A "fireside chat" - perhaps ten or a dozen members chewing around over current subject. In a week where none-essential shops are starting to re-open, and face masks have become compulsory for travelling on a bus or a train, how are things moving forward?  When will members be able, and want, to start making public transport journeys again in anything but the most necessary of situations?

Thursday (18th), 17:00 - Meet the Manager with Jason Ness and Samyutha Bala - http://www.passenger.chat/23629 (for all)

Sam and Jason join us to answer questions on GWR (Great Western Railway)'s passenger / customer interface - from the interface before and after your journey from the customer service team, and during your time on the railway from the customer experience team.  Questions are being forwarded this (Monday) morning to Jason and Sam so that considered initial answers can be given on Thursday, after which they'll be with us for an hour to discuss those answers and address any follow ups within their spheres.

For the Tuesday club, the member's code to access the Zoom meeting is in the link given above

For Meet the Manager, thread will start at http://www.passenger.chat/b48 which will be public readable.

To add ... on Friday afternoon (19th June) at 4 p.m. TravelWatch SouthWest will be holding a further online meeting too - signup details too follow.    The topic this week is the current pedestrianisation of our high streets and negative side effects of public transport and on people looking to use public transport to reach those streets.

Not a Coffee Shop arrange meeting - but all with a sustainable travel / transport interest in the South West are welcome, and I'll take notes and write them up on the forum afterwards.

BUMP .... How did it go yesterday?    Did any members get to Primark? ....

See you, if you can make it today (16th June 2020), at around 4 p.m.   This session will also act as a lead in to the TWSW» (TravelWatch SouthWest - website) Friday discussion addressing the thorny problem of how to squeeze both buses and social distanced Pedestrians into our High Streets!

A rich vein of enquiries has been tapped and is being worked on. I encourage all members and guests to be here on Thursday - no special software or devices needed - just come along to the "Meet the Manager" board as yourself.

You can find out more about how this forum works [here] - that will link you to a copy of the forum agreement that you can read before you join, and tell you very much more about how we operate. We are an independent forum, provided and run by customers of Great Western Railway, for customers of Great Western Railway and we welcome railway professionals as members too, in either a personal or official capacity.
