As they are being dug up anyway, the Weymouth tramlines would do a good job at Weymouth.

Oval on the Northern line or Arsenal on the Piccadilly line though neither are terminating stations  Grin
And anyway Arsenal have since moved on.

Although Drayton Park is maybe a little closer, Arsenal is still the closest main 'tube' station to the Emirates (along with Holloway Road - closed on match days).

And Old Trafford halt. Not a terminus and nothing even stops there since, I think, 2018.
