69 years ago, a unique element of London’s transport system closed, having served Londoners for 46 years.

The Kingsway Tram Subway was probably the most important stretch of tram track in London, linking together the extensive tram networks of north and south London.

It was built by the London County Council and opened in 1906, as part of an ambitious renewal programme for the Holborn and Aldwych areas.
It had relatively short active life, closing in 1952, but despite this, the Subway underwent several major upgrades during its time. Surprisingly, more than half of the subway still exists to this day - complete with original features.

Our newest tour will take you down to explore the remaining tunnel and the former tram station, while you discover its life and times and how it served London.

That's odd, Digiguide is showing a different programme at that time, episode 6 of WW2 - Frontlines. It has been showing at 8pm on Mondays for a few weeks now. Perhaps that will change on the next listings update.

Yes I've noticed that her tweet, and those from Tim and Yesterday all say the same thing.

Digiguide still thinks that something else is on at that time. Although it updates daily, I suspect that it receives updates from different channels at differing frequencies, so possibly weekly for some whilst others might push out alterations to the schedules more frequently. I expect it will show the correct listings next week which would match what you and everyone else has been saying.

And now updated.  WW2 - Frontlines which was previously scheduled for 8pm has been pushed back to 9pm. It's the last in the series I believe.

Lots new to me as well.  And it has quality presentation - in contrast to some exploratory programmes where most of the time is occupied by talking heads instead of the showing us round the locations.

There's a second series of "Secrets of the London Underground" starting on the Yesterday channel tonight at 8 pm.

... and a new series started last Tuesday. Episode 2 is on Yesterday tomorrow (11/7/23) at 8 pm. No doubt episode 1 is catch-uppable.

There is a new series (no. 4) starting tonight at 8pm on Yesterday. Or at least I think there is - it's in the schedule, but no-one - not uktv, not the LT museum, not even IMDb - explicitly says it's a new series starting tonight.

FWIW^▸ (for what it's worth), the listing in the Sunday Times "Culture" supplement says that it's a new series, tonight's programme featuring Earls Court and Alperton stations and their escalators.

According to My London, Alperton is the only station still with wooden escalators - although they are behind fake walls & not in use. I wonder if that is what they'll feature?
