A year ago today - 15th March 2021, "Bus Back Better" was launched by the Department for Transport ( mirror - (Department for Transport - about)-Bus-Back-Better-national-bus-strategy-for-England.pdf" target="_blank">http://www.passenger.chat/DfT-Bus-Back-Better-national-bus-strategy-for-England.pdf ).  It's a long term plan - how are we doing a year in?

A very local perspective: as of a few weeks ago, the pair of bus services serving north east Bath, during the day and until after the evening peak, now terminate an 8 minute walk from the bus and railway stations. Partly as the service was struggling with timekeeping given the upswing in delivery vehicles/parked vehicles/SUVs on what was always a tortuous route. Not ideal.
