We are pleased to announce that the new extension to Edgbaston Village is now open.

We are now serving our three new stops: Brindleyplace, Five Ways and Edgbaston Village, connecting our customers to the west side of the city and restoring services to stops such as Grand Central providing a convenient link with regional and national rail services.

Can anyone point me to a tram network in the UK^▸ that isn't doing well and expanding?

It took a long while to get the Midland Metro on a path to expansion, but it’s all happening now. Just a bit of a shame that it’s taken so long to do the Wolverhampton station extension…so much so that it won’t be open in time for the commonwealth games.
