Trams are operating between Wolverhampton St George’s and Edgbaston Village

We are pleased to announce that the new extension to Edgbaston Village is now open.

We are now serving our three new stops: Brindleyplace, Five Ways and Edgbaston Village, connecting our customers to the west side of the city and restoring services to stops such as Grand Central providing a convenient link with regional and national rail services.

The heading on this announcement is "Service Disruption" .  Can we have more service disruptions of this type.

Can anyone point me to a tram network in the UK (United Kingdom) that isn't doing well and expanding?

It took a long while to get the Midland Metro on a path to expansion, but it’s all happening now.  Just a bit of a shame that it’s taken so long to do the Wolverhampton station extension…so much so that it won’t be open in time for the commonwealth games.
