2.  No OLE▸ (Overhead Line Equipment, more often "OHLE")?

Both good thoughts but not what I had in mind, which is much more immediate.   I should add to both lists "and only these lines / route" - both are intended to be complete lists within the GWR▸ (Great Western Railway) operational area, and there is something of a similarity (though opposite) in the two lists.

4 - Only lines with a service on the ASLEF» (Associated Society of Locomotive Engineers and Firemen - about) strike day (makes the answer to no 2 a bit easier!)

William Huskisson MP▸ (Member of Parliament, or Mile Post (a method of measuring the railway in miles and chains from a starting point - usually London), depending on context) was the first person to be killed by a train while crossing the tracks, in 1830.  Many more have died in the same way since then.  Don't take a chance: Stop, Look, Listen.
