I don't think it's Taunton?

I can't see the image, so I'm going to say it was Taunton. Possibly Taunton, New York, where the right of way of the former interurban trolley line has become Onondaga Boulevard.

The image is an attachment and needs to be clicked on. I wondered about Machu Pichu.

Windows wants 0.79p for me to download something, so won't spend that amount to decide it's NOT Taunton

Here's the image (that I think I've identified location of!) for anyone having problems with the attachment in the OP▸ . Definitely not Taunton - that ain't the Quantock Hills in the background. I'm fairly sure it's not Melksham either. One too many platforms.

I’ve not been for a while, but could it be Fort William?

Bit of a hill in the background - would it be Shippea Hill?

Nah. Burrow Mump. Although it appears someone has had away with the ruined church atop.

I thought it was fairly obvious. Mount Pilning behind everyone's favourite station.
