The 08:45 from Swindon to Westbury is going via Bathampton and thus missing Melksham.

This is due to signalling problems.

Alterations to services between Chippenham and Trowbridge via Melksham
Due to a fault with the signalling system between Swindon and Westbury all lines are closed. Disruption is expected until 11:00 03/05.
Train services between Chippenham and Trowbridge via Melksham may be diverted.
Customer Advice
Passengers from Melksham are advised to please use the Customer Help Point or contact National Rail Enquiries on 03457 484 950 detailing the total number of passengers in your party and your intended destination. This will enable us to get suitable replacement transport to you as quickly as possible.

Passengers For Melksham from Westbury and Trowbridge: please travel to Trowbridge where rail replacement transport has been arranged to take you forward to Melksham.

Passengers For Melksham from Swindon and Chippenham: please travel to Chippenham where rail replacement transport has been arranged to take you forward to Melksham.

The 9.10 Melksham to Westbury was cancelled with less than 10 minutes to go. I confess I trudged home and got the car to work (yet again)
