Due to damage to the overhead electric wires earlier today between Worcester Foregate Street and Oxford fewer trains are able to run on all lines.
Train services running through these stations may be cancelled or delayed. Disruption is expected until 12:00 09/12.

Please be advised that following this weeks overhead line equipment disruption between Reading and London Paddington we've trains sets displaced across our network. As a consequence, we have three consecutive Worcester to London Paddington services cancelled.

Customers are advised that the 08:28 Worcester Foregate Street has now departed Worcester Shrub Hill 88 minutes late (having started at Shrub Hill) and will be the next available London-bound service.

Customers may also use their GWR▸ rail ticket(s) on West Midlands Railway to Birmingham New Street and on Avanti West Coast from Birmingham New Street to London Euston as a viable alternative. We have also requested 2 coaches to operate a Worcester Foregate Street to Oxford service calling at all Worcester stations, Evesham, Moreton-in-Marsh, Kingham, Hanborough and Oxford. These are to be confirmed.
