As well as the removal of some off-peak shuttles between Oxford and Didcot (as discussed elsewhere), it looks like two of the key services between Oxford and Banbury are also going next month.

The 17:55 stations to Banbury has to be *the* train that people who use it would prefer *not* to be removed from the timetable, yes?

Gwr are reviewing & considering various options with the DfT» (Department for Transport - about) currently and these may change/revert

Both offending trains now appear to have appeared in RTT» (Real Time Trains - website) and the journey planners.

or was it a way to secure a subsidy from Local Authorities / DfT» (Department for Transport - about)
