Hornby are pulling their "Playtrain" range.  Apparently, although not a flop, they might be looking for a better introductory level product.  More on the link below.

A bit of upbeat news about the fortunes of Hornby Railways this year since Mike Ashley's involvement with them.  Quite a pleasant surprise, sales do seem to have significantly increased.

Nice to read that, following predicted doom and gloom for the future of railway modelling last year, the organisers of the Workington model railway event are hoping for record attendee numbers and are claiming interest is buoyant.  Here's a link to the BBC» (British Broadcasting Corporation - home page) article:
