This has been posted on the Parson Street station web site,can you help,

Friends of Parson Street Station - Documentary Opportunity
Hey guys, I'm a final year film student at the University of Bristol. A small group of students and I are looking to shoot our final year documentary on the current state of Bristish railways. We think Parson Street Station would be a great subject through which to examine the underappreciation of smaller stations.
We'd really love to get chatting with some of you and hear about your experiences with British rail and Parson Street Station. If anyone is interested, give me a message or reply to this post. Any response would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks, Kasper

I don't know Kasper - but he's right that there are many smaller stations that are under appreciated - having said which almost every small station DOES have a band of dedicated supporters,

I will add open comment here - Pilning still has such huge and obvious potential, and now that the line through there is electrified the acceleration of trains should be such that a stop could be added each way every hour - initially on the IET▸ (Intercity Express Train - replacement for HSTs (manufactured by Hitachi in Kobe, Japan)) that's running from Cardiff towards Penzance.  But the business case for that means that traffic other than those who can walk there using current roads and paths are needed to use the trains, and that means car parking, an easy connection to the main road, and a footpath and cycle way for those headed to and from businesses at Severnside, a few hundred yards from the station.
