6A16 a failure?

Someone on the WNXX (Stored Unserviceable, Mainline Locos HQ All Classes) forum has said that dragging brakes caused wheelflats on one or more wagons.

It now appears to have moved off as 6Z16 back to Westbury.

14:19 Westbury to Swindon due 15:01 will now run as scheduled.
Disabled toilet facilities are not available.

17:50 Gloucester to Salisbury due 20:06

17:50 Gloucester to Salisbury due 20:06 will be starting late from Gloucester and is expected to be 3 minutes late.
This is due to more trains than usual needing repairs at the same time.

All the reasons are out today ;-) ... I suspect 3 minutes will soon be made up!

It now appears to have moved off as 6Z16 back to Westbury.

Was reported by staff as it thumped through Trowbridge.   Was rescued by a loco from Whatley Quarry and dragged back at 15mph.   Investigations suggest a wagon brake had been left on.

Is that the same signalling fault that we were hearing about this morning ... that seems to have been cleared up on other lines many hours ago now?
