Summarising at the end of the day

Of the 14 trains due to call at Melksham

4 did call more or less as planned (none on time - all from 5 to 18 minutes late)
9 were cancelled and show up as such
1 - the 15:03 - seems to have disappeared from even Real Time Trains

A GWR (Great Western Railway) passenger train did pass by at 09:19 on its way from London via Swindon and Westbury to Penzance

I do wonder if the cancellations today are linked to being able to run a full service on the Cardiff-Portsmouth line for Imber bus day?

That last pair, according to Real Time Trains, were due to be worked by 158745 - which was the train involved in the vandalism incident mentioned in the sleeper thread.  After going to Exeter depot it then worked a service from Taunton to Bristol where it looks to have been swapped out.
