Probably, yes - according to an expert it only doesn't stop at Camborne on Wednesdays.

Today (20th July) showing several main line and Newquay problems.
Shortage of staff and stock.

Including a Plymouth - Paddington terminated at Exeter.  It then forms a cancelled Paddington to Penzance (but only from Exeter).

Last day of Boardmasters at Newquay, so naturally........................

Cancellations to services between Par and Newquay
Due to a broken down train between Par and Newquay fewer trains are able to run.
Train services running to and from these stations may be cancelled.

Disruption is expected until the end of the day.

13:14 Penzance to Plymouth due 15:10
13:14 Penzance to Plymouth due 15:10 will no longer call at Lostwithiel, Bodmin Parkway, St Germans and Saltash.
This is due to overcrowding.
Disabled toilet facilities are not available.

A 2 car 175 (009).

14:36 London Paddington to Torquay due 17:38
14:36 London Paddington to Torquay due 17:38 will be starting late from London Paddington.
This is due to a fault on this train.
It didn't start late, but it's also a 5 car unit..............

As are many InterCity ones today..

Boardmasters presumably.
Do the Treasury not care about passengers.

The civil servants at the Treasury are number crunchers, not customer facing.

That's my personal opinion - not the official view from this Coffee Shop forum.

William Huskisson MP (Member of Parliament, or Mile Post (a method of measuring the railway in miles and chains from a starting point - usually London), depending on context) was the first person to be killed by a train while crossing the tracks, in 1830.  Many more have died in the same way since then.  Don't take a chance: Stop, Look, Listen.

"Level crossings are safe, unless they are used in an unsafe manner."  Discuss.

How do the train crew rosters work at Truro? Falmouth trains are regularly cancelled at short notice and main line trains held awaiting crew.
The replacement staff seem to come on trains that these days are regularly very late. Therefore delays are amplified.
On Saturday a two coach 175 that was packed with standing passengers because the previous two London trains had been cancelled from Penzance.
The 175 was then held for ages awaiting a late down train for a crew member to join it. Some passengers gave up and got off.
Seems a weird way to run a railway?
