Located at North Town crossing 1 mile 22 chains from Maidenhead station and 25 miles 41 chains from London Paddington

Originally built using wooden sleepers on concrete base frames, the crossing keeper used also sell tickets from a small wooden hut.

Renamed 5 May 1969   to just Furze Platt
