William Huskisson MP▸ (Member of Parliament, or Mile Post (a method of measuring the railway in miles and chains from a starting point - usually London), depending on context) was the first person to be killed by a train while crossing the tracks, in 1830.  Many more have died in the same way since then.  Don't take a chance: Stop, Look, Listen.

"Level crossings are safe, unless they are used in an unsafe manner."  Discuss.

It's interesting, grahame, that all of the stations which have been identified so far are all in the UK▸ (United Kingdom).  Most of the others, clearly in Europe, remain a puzzle.

I have, to a certain extent, some inside information as to where grahame has been travelling recently - but I'm struggling.  Roll Eyes

Yes, I note and had expected that the UK ones would go first - and come tomorrow morning I'll be accepting a country rather than insisting on a station name.  For those of us who enjoy rail travel, the sheer variety of new places is lovely and these are just "random" places I have been to.
