The Welsh economy is losing out because of a lack of rail investment, a transport expert has said.

Prof Mark Barry said Wales should be getting a lot more money, but because spending was controlled from Whitehall, England was more of a priority.

It's 39 YEARS since a station was last (re)opened in Wiltshire.  When was the last (re)opening in Wales?  What do the comparative pipelines look like?

There's a lot of investment that's is needed and should have been done in Wales some of which would have an effect on Bristol if the wires reach Swansea I know the swanline service was supposed to be increased to hourly and run to Bristol TM (Train Manager, or possibly Ticket Machine, depending on context) giving 3tph between the two  cities I know TFW still want to run to Bristol TM using an extra batch of class 756s including a stop at Ashley down
