I'd say Hamburg - at least when you go for lunch.

I'm not a hamburger today ... but there may be a similar foodie link

Yep - It's a model on the main concourse at Frankfurt (Main) Hbf ... a change of trains and - err - a hamburger and a coffee there this morning.  For a Euro, they allow it to be driven by drivers of any age.

From Wikipedia, I think they are narrow gauge railway carriages originally built in 1920 - but I have no idea where they are now.

William Huskisson MP (Member of Parliament, or Mile Post (a method of measuring the railway in miles and chains from a starting point - usually London), depending on context) was the first person to be killed by a train while crossing the tracks, in 1830.  Many more have died in the same way since then.  Don't take a chance: Stop, Look, Listen.

"Level crossings are safe, unless they are used in an unsafe manner."  Discuss.

Take a careful look at my picture though.  Yes, that's the prototype, I'm sure ...

Here is the locomotive if it helps

It's the same building, isn't it (albeit somewhat rebuilt and restructured)?

I'll go for https://pixabay.com/photos/oybin-zittau-mountains-train-tracks-7243600/

Yes - it's Oybin at the "top" of the narrow gauge steam railway from Zittau, visited 18th June.   Now - where was I yesterday?   These are two different stations ...

I see that no-one has risked naming my remote stations in the Czech Republic (and I would have to look back for the spelling now).   Here's another offPiste one from today

My memory of the Czech railways is that they were far better maintained than that!  Grin

The Czech republic ones are Rybniste and Varnsdorf, and that narrow gauge track is part  of coaling plant at the Wolsztyn steam shed.  I have seen many other wonderful places ... and have so many more pictures, some of which I am having trouble identifying myself.
