Wednesday, 26th November 2026.  Bethesda Church Hall, Trowbridge.  19:00 for 19:30, finish by 21:10 for "carriages" from the railway station that's just across the road to other west wilts stations, and "honorary" neighbours such as Frome, Freshford and Chippenham.

Nick Reid, Great Western's Bus/Rail integration Guru, is our speaker.  We remember Nick fondly from his days as Station / Area manager at Westbury, and applaud GWR (Great Western Railway) for progress they have made - though very patchy and very much work in progress - in linking up journeys and fares that include both rail and road elements.

All welcome.  Paid up members of WWRUG» (West Wiltshire Rail Users Group - about) - the meeting cost is included in your annual £8 fee. Guests - we ask for £2 on the door to help us towards defraying costs.  WWRUG is independent - it is not funded by train or bus companies, nor directly or indirectly through the Department for Transport or local government, and that £2 is the price of independence if you like.   Last night's committee meeting addressed the appalling service reliability issues, and asked how we as passengers and a passenger group can help/persuade those who can make a positive difference to actually do so.
