And for the third time this week:

Quote
17:05 Didcot Parkway to Evesham due 18:24 will be cancelled.
This is due to a fault on this train.

18:51 Evesham to Oxford due 19:50 will be cancelled.
This is due to a fault on this train.

But the 16:32 Great Malvern to Paddington seems to be running and on time.

Also need to note the short-formed 11:52 Paddington to Hereford service only got as far as Great Malvern "due to late arrival of an inbound service (YI)", with the return 15:18 run from Hereford similarly truncated.

Becoming a regular occurrence now:

Quote
17:05 Didcot Parkway to Evesham due 18:24 will be cancelled.
This is due to more trains than usual needing repairs at the same time.

18:51 Evesham to Oxford due 19:50 will be cancelled.
This is due to more trains than usual needing repairs at the same time.

If the 165 is knackered, it's probably awaiting a part (to be manufactured?)

From Realtime Trains:

0713 Great Malvern to London Paddington - this service was cancelled between Worcester Shrub Hill and London Paddington due to a points failure (IB).

09:56 Great Malvern to London Paddington due 12:23 has been delayed at Honeybourne and is now 20 minutes late.
This is due to a late running train being in front of this one.
Last Updated:27/02/2026 11:05

Looks like there may have been a problem with a departmental off Honeybourne Sidings headed for Gloucester Horton Road, which left the sidings right time at 0940, but didn't get to Evesham until 1026, best part of half an hour late (according to RTT» (Real Time Trains - website))  This impacted the Great Malvern to Paddington fast, which appears to have been stuck at Norton Junction for 12-15 minutes waiting for the single line

A sad event today, 19 March.

A person was hit by a train, between Moreton in Marsh (as far as I can tell) and Evesham.  No news released at present

The 0851 Paddington to Great Malvern departed Moreton in Marsh on time, but there's no report on RTT» (Real Time Trains - website) of it arriving at Honeybourne

1053 Paddington to Wortcester Shrub Hill cancelled throughout, as is the 1151 Paddington to Hereford.  The return working of both have also been cancelled

My thoughts and prayers are with all involved in this horrible business
