Meanwhile, over at The Independent, it appears that DB» (Deutsche Bahn - German State Railway - about) are returning to the UK▸ (United Kingdom) sometime in the future to help with Northern Powerhouse Rail, and bringing some of their nice ICE3s with them - I hope they don't get stuck in the tunnels or under the bridges - see - https://www.msn.com/en-gb/news/uknews/what-you-need-to-know-about-northern-powerhouse-rail-plans/ar-AA1Kv6fn?ocid=msedgntp&pc=U531&cvid=b3a5c89b91654ea5b980523d90235016&ei=85

To illustrate a story concerning an ECML▸ (East Coast Main Line) broken rail the BBC» (British Broadcasting Corporation - home page) journalist concerned apparently thought an image of a Class 897 would be appropriate. These machines are not scheduled for entry into public service until 2027.

That's well south of 'Annoying'. The first is A.I. fantasy, how is one meant to learn about the world from this sort of imagery - the landscape isn't feasable, never mind the train and rail line. The second... for obvious reasons there's many Tarbets in Scotland and top marks to the itinerary for that side-excursion to the wrong one. Oh, and that isn't Harris.

"Level crossings are safe, unless they are used in an unsafe manner."  Discuss.

The houses in the background look like Bristol, but that's not Temple Meads, is it - too curved? And the roof looks wrong.

That is definitely a picture taken at Bristol Temple Meads.  The houses in the distance are the rather famously differently coloured terraced properties on Bellevue Terrace and Richmond Street.  Gosh, how I used to enjoy delivering groceries in those narrow streets up there!  Roll Eyes
