Fair enough - provided he doesn't refer to my local railway station as 'Nailsea & Blackwell', as he did in a previous series.  Sad  Shocked Roll Eyes

William Huskisson MP▸ (Member of Parliament, or Mile Post (a method of measuring the railway in miles and chains from a starting point - usually London), depending on context) was the first person to be killed by a train while crossing the tracks, in 1830.  Many more have died in the same way since then.  Don't take a chance: Stop, Look, Listen.

"Level crossings are safe, unless they are used in an unsafe manner."  Discuss.

And at the University of Exeter Great Hall on Thursday 12th November for which SWTSMBO▸ (She Who Thinks She Must Be Obeyed (affectionate term for wife or female partner)) and I booked tickets some time ago. Very much looking forward to this. On the booking site it looks like around 65% of tickets have been sold with plenty remaining at £40 & £45.

We saw him at the Wiltshire Music Centre in Bradford on Avon a few years ago, it was very interesting.
