Here is one of my photos from the Monday. The sun came out in the afternoon making perfect conditions for a shot at Truthall Halt. The train was busy all day which is great for the railway quite a few people stopped in their cars on the bridge too to get photos. A fantastic job has been done restoring the station.

Pictures slowly appearing online of their new short extension northwards into the carpark at Prospidnick, where the shop and buffet have been moved allowing the platform at the station to be used for stabling and static display as well as a departure point for the short ride to Truthall Halt.

I'll be visiting in the coming fortnight.

A small length of the recently acquired trackbed from Truthall Halt towards the Water-ma-Trout viaduct and Helston is having a short length of track laid on it (under the bridge) during the operational pause during November and early December.

Water-ma-Trout viaduct has been acquired by the Railway, negotiations continue with land owners either side of it to enable the project to relay track to the industrial estate from the current 'terminus' at Truthall to proceed over the coming years.

Known locally as Lowertown Viaduct or the Cober Viaduct.

For info, there's about half a mile of clear trackbed to secure between Truthall and the viaduct and about half a mile of clear trackbed on the other side to the outskirts of Helston. If that works out, the total length of the line would come to about 2.5 miles.
