Hello everyone. This may be a little different from your usual stuff but I would be so grateful for any help. On 13 th February this year Cardiff City played at Chelsea in the FA Cup. A friend of mine boarded the Penzance to Paddington train at Reading and he was carrying a very large flag - a Welsh Dragon with the words 1927 Club printed on it.
The 1927 Club is the London and South East Branch of the Cardiff City Supporters Club.
Sadly my friend left this flag wrapped up in a cloth bag on the luggage rack of the train and only remembered it when he got to Stamford Bridge ( Chelsea's ground ).
Despite many , many calls to FGW (First Great Western) lost property sites we have not found it.
If you know anything or hear anything please get back to me on this mb. The flag has been part of our lives for nearly 20 years and has travelled extensively throughout Britain and Europe in support of Cardiff City and Wales. We could buy a new one for ^300 but it just wouldn't be the same.
Thank you.
Glyn.
