Whilst we're on a flying theme...

The annual Falmouth regatta week takes place 8th - 13th August with the Red Arrows appearing in the evening over the harbour on the Wednesday (11th).

I hope they couple the units up again!!!

found out today that the red arrows are performing over falmouth on wed night this week. there are many major road closures in and around falmouth. is it likely for services to be strengthened on wednesday evening?

Doubt it, however hopefully the crass repainting of the path rail at Falmouth Town station last year won't be repeated this.

Seemed to work ok, very over crowded 1930 return though.

Can't really complain wasn't ticketed on either leg, to and from Perranwell.

I managed to watch from my house, we are on the hill behind penryn station. My baby daughter was due her food and bed no long after so didnt have time to go anywhere else to watch.

There should have been 2 RPI (Revenue Protection Inspector, or Retail Price Index, depending on context)'s at Falmouth town

No ticket sales at Falmouth Docks, which to me is the most sensible station (and around 50 others thought so as well) to depart Falmouth on such occasions.

It appears that far more travelled from the Town last night according to a colleague who was working the branch!
