good idea about a bendybus service to st fagans, especially with all of the tourist to use public transport to get there.


A bad point however if anyone here is planning on getting the train to cardiff and planning to visit cardiff bay is that  you can no longer use your rail tickets to get free travel on the baycar service as teh city council have withdrawn the funding.

What's the point in linking the new bus service to Queen Street station? There is a railway from Queen Street to both Cardiff Central and the bay, so it sounds like it might be unecessary to me.

Don't DOO▸ (Driver-Only Operation (that is, trains which operate without carrying a guard)) it, keep the guard (but it probably wouldn't be a bad idea if the driver unlocked the doors on arrival at calling points).

The bus goes further into the bay (it loops round Atlantic warf and gets down to teh WAG» (Welsh Assembly Government - about) building) than the train station and it takes you direct to central removing the need to travel to queen street to change.  The bus was reasonably well used whenever I cuaght it.

Oh, I see the point of the bus from CDF» (Cardiff - next trains) to the bay, as it avoids the change as you say. It is journeys to/from Queen street that I was refering to, as no change of trains is needed to get from there either to Cardiff Bay or CDF. I guess if Atlantic warf is far from the bay station, it might be usefull, and the Bay station was a little hard to find when I was down there.
