there should be a link to the ranger tickets on the FGW (First Great Western) website, normally you cant really use rovers til after 09:15, but some of theme do have a list of services where you can travel before 9am.

0556 Exeter St Davids to Barnstaple
0640 Exeter St Davids to Axminster to Salisbury (train continues to London Waterloo)
0654 Exeter St Davids to Barnstaple
0724 Exeter St Davids to Axminster to Salisbury (train continues to London Waterloo)
0819 Plymouth to Penzance
0826 Exeter St Davids to Axminster to Salisbury (train continues to London Waterloo)
0827 Swindon to Penzance
0836 Taunton to Bristol Parkway
0840 Patchway to Taunton

best bet would be to ask a member of staff when you purchase the ticket.

As tomorrow is a Saturday, no need to worry about validity times. Travel with a Devon Day Ranger is vaild at any time on Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays. On any National Rail service within the Day Ranger mapped area:

A trip to Gunnislake would be my particular pick. Calstock viaduct is pretty impressive, as are the views along the River Tamar and crossing the mouth of the River Tavy.

The Devon Day Ranger has to be one of the best bargains going at ^10 or ^6.60 with a rail card.As a resident of Devon I use them all the time.Very often hear people moaning at the cost of longer distance rail fares but within Devon and Cornwall rail travel is really good value these days.

ive tried the ranger challenge myself... its surprising how much it takes out of you! i tried to get every line in but have never quite managed it, on summer sundays there is an extra line to add to that challenge
