My daughter went to Edinburgh for the day yesterday, from Newcastle. She got on her return service (TPE, Advance ticket), the train was very full then (X Country strike not helping ??). Some time before the train due to leave they shut the doors as the train was jam packed by this time. My daughter said there was one VERY upset, locked out, would-be passenger on the platform by her coach..............he was wearing a Newcastle shirt !!
