From the
Reading Chronicle:
Commuters will get a second chance to grill rail bosses next week.
The question-and-answer event on Tuesday evening (June 30) is a follow-up to a similar session last July.
First Great Western (FGW▸ ) has improved its record markedly since then, and has even scrapped season ticket discounts previously paid for poor performance.
The event will be hosted by Reading Borough Council at the Civic Centre. FGW chief operating officer Mark Hopwood will answer public questions, alongside route director Richard Rowland and Network Rail managers.
Anyone can just turn up to the session, which starts at 6.30pm in the main council chamber.
