A person has died after getting hit by a train on the line which runs between Reading station and London Paddington.
At around 2.20pm Great Western Railway (GWR^▸ ) reported that a person had been hit on the tracks near Southall railway station.

GWR reports as of 16:20
Following a person being hit by a train earlier between London Paddington and Reading all lines have now reopened.
Impact:
Train services running to and from these stations are returning to normal but some services may still be cancelled, delayed by up to 60 minutes or revised. Disruption is expected until 17:30 08/09.
