If I may have a second entry please.

9 looks like a vertical surface of concrete that was poured into a smooth mould, with the few tiny air bubbles that remained between the concrete and mould having become little indentations in the smooth surface. Quite a contrast to the texture of the rough-cast concrete that was fashionable in 1960s brutalist architecture.

Did you want a location? I don't think it's Melksham, so it must be Taunton!

They are all Melksham - and taken within a few minutes yesterday morning. The days of having rabbits running around in the middle of the night have gone, but the cat passing by on its way through added some animal interest.

No. 9 is really difficult - it's actually the "clear" curved roof on the cycle shelter.

An area to park / leave cycles with a roof is a valuable asset at the station, but that roof is shockingly difficult to clean. Truth be know, it was left in natural condition for many years, but following complaints last year, MRUG^» has had a go at getting rid of the worst of the encrusted coating; the quiz picture is a recent one and hopefully it is no longer so filthy that it causes complaints to GWR^▸ about the station adoption team not looking after the station.

Also of note in picture 3 is a cable and we all know the problem a damaged cable can cause at Melksham!
